Job Summary:
The 401(k) Plan Manager role will be a combination of outside sales and client/customer management and service. Daily activities would include market research and analysis of prospective employer plans, networking to facilitate introductions, development, and presentation of solutions, management, and service of active plans.
Essential Functions:
- Solicit new business.
- Work directly with clients via phone/ video conference/ email/ in person.
- Identify existing plan deficiencies and challenges, and prepare solutions to meet stated or anticipated needs.
- Develop strategies for identifying and gaining introductions to plan sponsors and decision-makers.
- Prepare for client meetings (collect/organize/synthesize client data within financial planning context).
- Work with team members to complete follow-up tasks from client meetings (record meeting notes, complete additional planning/investment management tasks, and coordinate work).
- Handle client service responsibilities (regular client contact/communications, conduct account reviews, and address client-related communications).
- Provide clients with asset management solutions (review plan portfolios, and assist with implementation of new portfolios).
- Develop & prepare prospective employer-sponsored retirement plans & presentations for review by team members.
- Partner with team members to manage operational items as they relate to client accounts (submit requests to the operational team for account paperwork, initiate/track transfers and account funding, implementation of asset allocation recommendations, service requests, and client online account access).
- Participate in weekly Team meetings when requested and communicate with the appropriate departments as needed.

Job Summary:
The Financial Advisor/Planner role should be primarily client-facing. Daily activity includes, but not limited to, solicitation of new clients, facilitation of introductory calls with prospective clients provided by Heritage Investors, guiding and teaching the sundry of areas provided by the Certified Financial Planner Board, managing the client’s requests, and expectations, and financial plan development. The FA will engage clients through the utilization of established Heritage processes and cultural planning philosophies.

- Act as a financial life coach for clients to help identify their life passions and goals.
- Develop actionable plans for clients to achieve their goals/objectives.
- Professionally/objectively build & deliver custom financial plans ensuring the highest quality product and delivery of unparalleled customer experience.
- Prepare for client meetings (collect/organize/synthesize client data within financial planning context).
- Work with team members to complete follow-up tasks from client meetings (record meeting notes, complete additional planning/investment management tasks, and coordinate action tasks).
- Handle client service responsibilities (regular client contact/communications, conduct account reviews, and address client-related communications).
- Provide clients with asset management solutions (review portfolios, coordinate withdrawal needs, deliver tax strategies for assets under management, rebalance portfolios, and assist with implementation of new portfolios).
- Develop/prepare client financial plans/presentations for review by team members.
- Partner with team members to manage operational items as they relate to client accounts (submit requests to the operational team for account paperwork, initiate & track transfers and account funding, implementation of asset allocation recommendations, service requests, and client online account access.
- Work with team members to coordinate insurance applications/underwriting (for life/disability/long-term care insurance policies) through our strategic partnership with an independent insurance brokerage firm.
- Participate in weekly Team meetings when requested and communicate with the appropriate departments as needed.
